Open world sandbox action game American Fugitive coming to PC and consoles later this year

March 5, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Curve Digital and developers Fallen Tree Games have announced that they will be launching their new action open-world sandbox game, American Fugitive, on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo switch and PC later this year.  This upcoming title is a tale of revenge set in the 1980s.  Curve Digital has released a new trailer providing a bit of the story and showing some of the gameplay, this can be seen below….

American Fugitive is set in a sleepy American town in the 1980s and puts players in the role of Will Riley, a man framed for the cold blooded murder of his father.  As Riley, players will need to break out of prison, avoid the police, seek out the real murderer and deal some real justice.

Developed by a team of developers previously known for working on titles such as TimeSplitters, Crysis, and Goldeneye 007: Reloaded, American Fugitive will provide fast paced, top down  gameplay in 3D world filled with epic car chases and destructible environments.

Key features of the game include:

  • A mature action game with an original story that sees players unravelling plots and schemes in a world inhabited by a motley cast of law-breakers and law- enforcers.
  • Explore the charming open-world environment of Redrock County, on foot or by car.
  • Go straight or choose the life of a felon and rob houses, steal cars and arm yourself to the teeth.

Set in a sleepy American country town in the 1980s, American Fugitive invites you to play as Will Riley. You’re no angel, but you’re not a killer. Yet the cold-blooded murder of your dad is the crime they’ve locked you up for. Fueled by grief and a burning desire for vengeance, you must break out of jail to find the real culprit. It’s payback time.

Look out for American Fugitive coming to PC and consoles later this year.
