Star Trek: Short Treks trailer sees the return of Pike, Spock, Number One, and the Tribbles

July 22, 2019 by Gary Collinson

During this weekend’s Star Trek panel at the San Diego Comic-Con International, CBS All Access has announced six new episodes of its Star Trek: Short Treks series, three of which will revolve around the original crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise and see the return of Pike (Anson Mount), Number One (Rebecca Romijn) and Spock (Ethan Peck).

The six new Short Treks are titled “Ask Not,” “Q&A,” “The Trouble with Edward,” “The Girl Who Made the Stars,” “Ephaim and Dot” and “Children of Mars.” Check out a trailer here…

CBS’s Star Trek overlord Alex Kurtzman had previously teased the return of the Enterprise crew, stating earlier in the month that: “I would be remiss in saying you’re going to see Spock again on Discovery because we’ve obviously jumped so far into the future that it wouldn’t make sense. But the idea of bringing Ethan back, and Anson and Rebecca and the Enterprise, I mean, we loved it so much, and to find a way to do that is definitely something we’re thinking about.”
