The battle for Earth begins in War of the Worlds: The Attack trailer

Vertical has released a trailer for director Junaid Syed’s sci-fi action adventure War of the Worlds: The Attack.

Co-written by FM’s Tom Jolliffe (writer-producer on FM’s The Baby in the Basket), the modernised take on H.G Wells’ classic War of the Worlds follows three friends as thay track a meteorite that has crashed to Earth, which they soon discover is the epicentre of an alien invasion of the planet. Check out the trailer below…

“War of the Worlds: The Attack follows three young astronomers tracking a meteorite that crashes into earth who discover they are at the epicentre of a Martian invasion. A soldier helps the trio and they end up in London where they must find a way to save mankind.”

Featuring in the cast of War of the Worlds: The Attack are Sam Gittins, Vincent Regan, Alhaji Fofana, Lara Lemon and Leo Staar.

War of the Worlds: The Attack is set for release on April 21st.
