Zack Snyder’s Twilight of the Gods animated series gets a batch of images from Netflix

June 8, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

As part of its Next on Netflix unveilings, the streaming giant has released eight images from Twilight of the Gods, the upcoming anime series inspired by Norse mythology from Zack Snyder, Jay Oliva and Eric Carrasco; take a look here…

Zack Snyder presents TWILIGHT OF THE GODS, an all-new daring and spectacular animated vision of Norse mythology. In a mythical world of great battles, great deeds and great despair, LEIF, a mortal King, is saved on the battlefield by SIGRID, an iron-willed warrior with whom he falls in love. On their wedding night, SIGRID and LEIF survive a wrath of terror from THOR, which sets them – and a crew of crusaders – on an against all odds and merciless mission for vengeance. This heroic story of love, loss and revenge, is a journey to Hell and beyond… across fantastical lands, battlefields fierce and bloody, and wars waged against Gods and demons.

Featuring in the voice cast of the animated series are Sylvia Hoeks (Blade Runner 2049) as Sigrid, Stuart Martin (Jamestown) as Leif, Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones) as Thor, John Noble (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) as Odin, Paterson Joseph (Timeless) as Loki, Rahul Kohli (The Haunting of Bly Manor) as Egill, Jamie Clayton (Sense8) as The Seid-Kona, Kristopher Hivju (Game of Thrones) as Advari, Peter Stormare (American Gods) as Ulfr, Jamie Chung (Lovecraft Country) as Hel, Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead) as Inge and Corey Stoll (House of Cards) as Hrafnkel.

Twilight of the Gods is coming soon to Netflix.
