Rapper Boosie Badazz cast in Glass Jaw

April 9, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Baton Rouge rapper-actor, Boosie Badazz, has been cast in the indie-boxing feature film Glass Jaw, being produced by Steve Perry (True Romance) and Zeus Zamani (Battlefield America), and executive producers Tommy Vlahopoulos, of Tommy V Productions, Tom Sulkowski (The Rake), and Dan Gatsby of Gatsby Studios.

The famed American rapper joins lead actor Lee Kholafai (Hello Ladies), Korrina Rico (Horrible Bosses 2), Jon Gries (Taken), Jaime Camil (Jane the Virgin), Reynaldo Gallegos (Logan), and Ashlee Macropoulos (This Just In), in the high action movie, along with veteran actors Mark Rolston (The Departed), Vernon Wells (Commando), and Steven Williams (21 Jump Street).

Directed by Jeff Celentano (Breaking Point), with Jeffrey Kimball (Mission Impossible II, The Expendables) as director of photography, Glass Jaw follows a one-time boxing champion, who goes to prison and loses everything. After his release, he experiences the trials and tribulations of redeeming his reputation, his belt and his one true love.

The project is being filmed in Los Angeles and is set to be released later this year.
