Emma Stone explains why she passed on the Ghostbusters reboot

June 18, 2015 by admin

Earlier today, we brought you the news that Ghostbusters had begun production and now we have word from one of the actors who was considered for the movie. It was rumoured for a long time that Emma Stone (Birdman) would be one of the featured ladies in Paul Feig’s reboot of Ghostbusters, and now the actor has revealed why she turned the role down.

“The script was really funny,” she told the Wall Street Journal. “It just didn’t feel like the right time for me. A franchise is a big commitment — it’s a whole thing. I think maybe I need a minute before I dive back into that water.”
