August’s line up of games for Playstation Plus subscribers have been revealed and there are some absolute gems coming for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita plus a bonus VR game for those who like their immersive gaming expereinces on Sony’s VR system.
First up is Hangar 13’s action adventure video game, Mafia III. Set within the fictional city of New Bourdeaux, players follow Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam vet whose surrogate family is wiped out by the Mafia. From there on it’s non-stop action as Clay sets out to bring the mob to its knees and get revenge on the people responsible.
Next on the list is asymmetric survival horror Dead by Daylight. With one player taking the role of the vicious killer and the other 4 taking roles of more vulnerable survivors, players will all experience the thrill of the hunt. Is anyone smart enough to survive being caught, tortured and killed in the most gruesome way?
Other titles coming to Playstation Plus members this month are:

- Draw Slasher, PS Vita
- Space Hulk, PS Vita
Playstation Plus subscribers also get two bonus games this month; first is the VR title, Here They Lie free, a surreal, psychological horror that will have players looking over their shoulder as they explore a nightmarish city inhabited by sinister creatures, and Knowledge is Power a trivia game that requires a mobile device and Sony’s PlayLink app.
All games will be free to download on 7th August so still time to download July’s games if you’ve not had chance to do so.
