Chadwick Boseman isn’t interested in Black Panther appearing in a Disney+ series

November 19, 2019 by Samuel Brace

If Chadwick Boseman has his way, Black Panther will not be appearing in any Disney+ Marvel series.

Now that Disney+ is a force in the streaming space, Marvel are certainly going to make their presence known on the platform. There are already numerous MCU TV shows lined up for Disney+ but it sounds like Black Panther won’t be appearing in any of them.

According to Chadwick Boseman, the actor behind the character, he just isn’t interested in making the jump to a Disney+ TV series. Answering a question about who he would like to team up with, the actor told MTV International (via CBR):

“I wouldn’t because I don’t want to do a TV show. I wouldn’t choose one so I can’t answer that. Like, I have a whole list of things that I’m excited about. And so, none of those are franchises.”
