Carl Weathers says his character’s backstory will be revealed in The Mandalorian season 2

December 5, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Carl Weathers, one of the stars of The Mandalorian, says his character’s backstory will be revealed in season two.

So far in season one of The Mandalorian, Carl Weathers’ character Greef Carga has been both friend and enemy to the Mando, dishing out bounty missions to our hero before turning on him.

We don’t know about the character’s past or where he comes from but Weathers says that all this information is to come, just not in season one. Speaking to GamesRadar, the actor said: “I think [Greef’s backstory] is more saved for season two. But you get some glimpses at Greef and who he is through the stories in the first season. There’s some real strong indications that give you some idea of who he is. But we never let on completely.”
