Ready or Not directors teaming with Phil Lord and Chris Miller for new horror-comedy

December 17, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, The Lego Movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) are set to team up with Radio Silence, the filmmaking collective behind this summer’s Ready or Not, for a brand-new horror-comedy.

According to a recent report by The Hollywood Reporter, the film is described as ‘a unique bear-driven horror-comedy – with heart.’ Although there are no details regarding the project yet, the film was ‘being pitched as a cross between Good Boys and The Revenant.’

Radio Silence — consisting of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett and Chad Villella — will shepherd the project, with Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett directing and Villella producing. However, the film will be produced under the Lord Miller banner as part of the duo’s first-look pact with Universal that was inked in early August.
