New adventures await World of Warcraft Classic players with Rise of the Blood God

April 16, 2020 by Andrew Newton

A new challenge awaits World of Warcraft Classic players as Blizzard Entertainment announce the arrival of Rise of the Blood God raid zone.  This takes players to the jungles of Stranglethorn where an old evil stirs in the ancient troll city of Zul’Gurub.  See more of this new raid zone in the new trailer below….

Within the jungles of Stranglethorn lays the ancient troll city of Zul’Gurub where untold peril awaits.  Players will need to gather together 19 of their strongest allies and tackle the 13 boss encounters that await within the ancient location’s overgrown streets.  Before players take on Hakkar they are advised to defeat his five priests, this will greatly improve their chances of success, even missing one High Priest will make defeating Hakkar much more difficult.

For those who fancy a bit of relaxing fishing there is the the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza along the coasts of Stranglethorn Vale.  Look out for friendly neighborhood goblins in Ironforge and Orgrimmar who will provide instructions on how to take part.

Huge dragons of the Green Dragonflight have been sighted at the portals of the Great Trees but have been imbued with an ominous new presence.  These once peaceful creatures will require adventurers to bring forth all the allies they can to stop their devastation.

Last but by no means least, something unpleasant has awakened beyond the wall to the south and adventurers must aid the Druids of the Cenarion Circle as they seek the answers behind the Twilight Hammer’s mysterious presence in the area.  There’s more to discover about the alien creatures known as the Silithid as players explore their hives.

Venture into this new raid zone now.
