The long awaited conclusion to Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII remake at last has a release date. A new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Revelation announced the game will hit shelves on April 8, 2027.

Final Fantasy VII has long been regarded as not only the best game in the Final Fantasy franchise, but one of the best video games ever developed. Next year marks the 30th anniversary of its release, making Revelation‘s upcoming release incredibly timely for the milestone celebration.
The new trailer shows off gameplay of the entire FFVII cast now that they are all united as they prepare to face off against the deadly Sephiroth one final time before he can destroy the Lifestream and their planet. In addition to the trailer, Square Enix also showed off an in-depth look into the new combat features as well as the exploration system as players will gain access to the Highwind, Cid Highwind’s ship that will allow Cloud and his allies to travel across the continents.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation will feature the voices of Cody Christian as Cloud, Britt Baron as Tifa, John Eric Bentley as Barret, Max Mittelman as Red XIII, Suzie Yeung as Yuffie, Paul Tinto as Cait Sith, Matthew Mercer as Vincent, J. Michael Tatum as Cid, Briana White as Aerith, Caleb Pierce as Zack and Travis Willingham as Sephiroth, who takes over from Tyler Hoechlin after the previous two remake games.
In the final chapter of the Final Fantasy VII remake project, the scale has never been larger and the stakes have never been higher. Take to the skies and explore a boundless world, fight alongside a fully assembled party, master strategic and dynamic combat, and prepare yourself for the climactic finale.
