Trailer for Australian horror Birdeater teases a feral nightmare

Ahead of its US release this January, Dark Sky Films has shared a poster and trailer for directors Jack Clark and Jim Weir’s Australian horror-thriller Birdeater.

Shabana Azeez stars as Irene, a young woman who is invited to join her fiance’s bachelor party in a remote location in the Outback, only for the celebrations to turn into a booze-soaked, feral nightmare.

Featuring in the cast of Birdeater are Shabana Azeez, Mackenzie Fearnley, Ben Hunter, Jack Bannister, Clementine Anderson, Alfie Gledhill, Harley Wilson, and Caroline McQuade. Watch the trailer below…

A bride-to-be joins her fiance’s bachelor party in the remote Australian Outback. As the festivities spiral into beer-soaked chaos, uncomfortable details about their relationship are exposed, turning the celebration into a feral nightmare.

Birdeater is set for release on January 10th.
