Quentin Tarantino on the possibility of directing a Star Trek film

September 25, 2017 by Jordan Jones

Quentin Tarantino has famously stated that, following The Hateful Eight, he only has two films left in him. We’ve been left to wonder what those two final films would be about?

Rumor has it that he’s working on a film centered around the Charles Manson murders, with Brad Pitt and Jennifer Lawrence to star, but he hasn’t spoken publicly about it. However, he HAS spoken publicly about directing a Star Trek film. Recently, when asked by TMZ if he would ever be interested in tackling a movie set in the Star Trek universe, Tarantino said that the idea “would be worth having a meeting about.”

Sure, that is a pittance of a reply, but Tarantino isn’t exactly known for mincing words. The mere fact that he gave the idea some thought is interesting. Will it happen? Who knows, but a retro-style Tarantino directed Star Trek film would be epic to say the least.

What kind of Star Trek film do you think Quentin Tarantino would make? Let us know in the comments…

… You can find Jordan on Twitter (@JordJJones), and Facebook.
