MARK HAMILL ADDRESS THEORIES

A new fan theory his kicked around online based on previous posters for Star Wars, which claims that Luke Skywalker will be the villain when it comes to December’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Posing this question to Mark Hamill himself, The Jedi Knight had a rather humorous response. Check it out here.

MORE SEVERE

In a new interview with Collider, Josh Brolin has revealed that the sequel to Sicario, known as Soldado, is “more severe” and “much bigger”. Read more here.

WONDER WOMAN OSCAR CAMPAIGN

Following 20th Century Fox pushing Logan for Best Picture at next year’s Oscars, Warner Bros. have announced their campaign for Wonder Woman to get some recognition. The studio has put the film forward for fifteen categories, including Best Picture, Best Director (Patty Jenkins) and Best Actress (Gal Gadot). DARK KNIGHT PACKS A PUNCH

In the upcoming book 100 Things Batman Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die, author Joseph McCabe was able to conduct an interview with Christian Bale, who revealed that he and Ledger blurred the lines between acting and reality during their interrogation scene in The Dark Knight. “As you see in the movie, Batman starts beating the Joker and realizes that this is not your ordinary foe. Because the more I beat him the more he enjoys it. The more I’m giving him satisfaction. Heath was behaving in a very similar fashion. He was kinda egging me on. I was saying, ‘You know what, I really don’t need to actually hit you. It’s going to look just as good if I don’t.’ And he’s going, ‘Go on. Go on. Go on…’ He was slamming himself around, and there were tiled walls inside of that set which were cracked and dented from him hurling himself into them. His commitment was total.” Read more here.

STAN MEETS THE WATCHERS

Speaking of concept art, and character designer Michael Kutsche has revealed a piece from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which gives us a look at the early keyframe and character/costume design work for Stan Lee’s cameo scene featuring the Marvel legend meeting The Watchers. Check it out here.
