Star Wars Battlefront II campaign length revealed

October 22, 2017 by Gary Collinson

One of the big complaints about Star Wars Battlefront was the lack of a single player campaign mode, but that’s something EA has rectified with the upcoming sequel Star Wars Battlefront II, including a new mode which puts us into the shoes of Iden Versio, an Imperial special forces commando out for revenge against the Rebellion following the death of Emperor Palpatine.

During the week, EA unveiled a new trailer and screenshots showcasing the single player mode, and now producer David Robillard of Motive Studios, one of the game’s developers, has revealed to Press Start how long we can expect the campaign to last.

“We thought that around 5-7, maybe 8 hours is probably a good amount of time,” said Robillard. “We wanted to stay very driven towards the Star Wars fantasy that the players are going to experience and not have it be drawn out.”

What do you make of that campaign length? Is it what you were expecting? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
