Gamescom trailer released for Tropico 6, watch it here

August 24, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Kalypso Media have managed to smuggle a brand new gameplay trailer from El Presidente at Gamescom for their upcoming title Tropico 6.   First revealed back in July, Tropico 6 will once more take players back to the sun kissed beaches of El Presidente’s benevolent (or not so benevolent) dictatorship.  Watch the new trailer below…

In Tropico 6 players will once more be able to shape their country however they want, with choices ranging from feared dictator to peace-loving statesman.  Four distinctive eras lay in wait ready to challenge those who think they have the talent for leadership.

Players will be able to manage huge archipelagos and link them up with transportation networks, customise their palace and even give election speeches to win over your citizens.  Plus for the first time ever, players will be able to send there agents to different countries to steal wonders of the world such as the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower and use these to boost tourism.

El Presidente is back! Prove yourself once again as a feared dictator or peace-loving statesman on the island state of Tropico and shape the fate of your very own banana republic through four distinctive eras.

Tropico 6 will be arriving on Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC, Mac and Linux in 2018.
