Halloween creeps through The Fog of Dead by Daylight with seasonal content

October 7, 2026 by Andrew Newton

It’s Halloween season for Dead by Daylight, and this month of horror sees the arrival of new content every week. From the much-anticipated Diablo Collection to a Blighted look for Jason Voorhees, plus much more, there’s something for every fan. New trailers can be seen below…

On the 20th October, players will see the arrival of The Diablo Collection. This collection from the world of Blizzard’s hugely popular series features six new Outfits inspired by iconic characters and classes from across the franchise, including Lilith, the Daughter of Hatred as a Visceral Outfit for The Artist, Belial, The Lord of Lies as an Outfit for The Dredge, and a Mephisto Outfit for The Nurse. All three of these Outfits are Visceral or Ascended and come with unique voice lines performed by Diablo’s original voice actors Caroline Faber, Ray Porter, and Steve Blum.

Survivors also get some Outfits inspired by the playable classes of Diablo IV. Players will be able to escape the clutches of evil using a Sorceress Outfit for Zarina Kassir, the Barbarian Outfit for David King, or the Necromancer Outfit for Taurie Cain.

The Hallowed Blight Collection is now available with a new Blighted look for Jason Voorhees. The hockey-masked killer joined The Fog earlier this year and now becomes more horrifying as the Blight gives him a mix of stomach-churning pustules and mutations. Blighted Jason is also joined by equally unsettling Blighted Outfits for The Houndmaster and The Knight.

On 5th November, just in time for Stranger Things Day (6th November), the fan-favourite Lights Out Modifier is back with a special Stranger Things crossover. This plunge into darkness will reward players with special themed gifts.

That’s not all for Stranger Things fans, as the Stranger Things Collection returns with Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington in their finale Battle Outfits, and a season 4 Vecna Outfit.

Finally, the Haunted by Daylight event returns. Running for three weeks from 13th October, the game takes on a more traditional Halloween aesthetic with an eerie orange haze, pumpkins and more. During the event, the Void Realm will close but leave the Void Rifts. Once opened, these Rifts will become Void Portals and allow players to teleport around the map, creating new opportunities for escapes and ambushes. There are plenty of goodies up for grabs with earnable Tricks and Treats Collection Outfits for Shane Wiigwaas and The Hillbilly, Survivor Shirts for Sable Adam, and Jeff, and new Killer Masks for The Singularity, The Unknown, and The Trapper.

Start the Halloween scares now in Dead By Daylight.
